Thursday rides start from the Green Man, Sandridge allowing members to make their own route to the pub of the day. Kevan led a group of ten on an excellent, circuitous route. On this
ride few of us could guess which direction Kev would take next: when we expected him to turn left he turned right and vice versa, leading us through back doubles only a few local riders know. Kevan had kept his birthday secret, but Anne Jarman had arranged a card for him which passed surreptitiously around the diners and soon filled up with good wishes. What a good pub the Sibthorpe Arms is, a long time club favourite with friendly staff, good food - all on a lovely sunny day!
